Norman-Beckham

This is definetely going to be a common theme. Both guys can ball, hate each other and are petty as shit. These guys are the worst. Norman is a self absorbed loser who initimdates guys with baseball bats. Beckham is the worst, Ive addressed this in other blogs so ill just leave it at that. However, I love this rivalary. It really made for some compelling TV when these guys were matched up against each other. I feel like Norman gave the rest of the league a blueprint on how to stop OBJ, just look at him funny. Norman saying the Beckham was not in his top 5 reciever list was hilarious. Beckham watching on TV and then tweeting in real time was even funnier. Its unfortunate these guys dont play each other in the regular season this year. Would love to see one of their classic scraps.

The man, the myth, the legend. A fixture of professional sports for the last 20 years. Tom Brady seemed destine to ride off into the sunset on a half functional body and a relatively intact brain, donning a Patriots jersey. It seems that the ancient quarterback and his morally inept team had something else in mind. Brady met with Belicheck and thats that, no progress, no give and take. It seemed like a rather Belicheckian end to a 20 year long domination tour. The coach, of course, is known as an analytical decision maker who rather cut a player too early than too late. Anyone who watched Brady last year saw a noticeable drop in all statistical categories. When you arer 42 years old it is not unreasonable to see a steady decline in production. The XFL rule that the NFL must adopt

The XFL has burst onto the scene. By burst I mean the league has yet to fold. In all seriousness, as a football fan I am just happy there is semi-coherent football being played. Sure quarterback play isn't up to snuff (with the exception of a couple guys) but the XFL is doing something very cool. Other leagues have failed because they try and emulate or compete with the NFL. The XFL had basically filled a need (spring football) and provided enough wild concepts to keep your average fan somewhat interested. Honestly thats all football loving degenerates like myself need. The NFL would be wise to check their immense egos and improve their game through a key rule change.  The adoption of the XFL's revolutionary kickoff structure is a must for the league.
