Jags throw cash at Ivory

Chris Ivory signed with the Jags yesterday for 5 years and up to 30 million. When your the Jags you have to overpay for what you want and that was the situation here. All that aside this is a great move for the Jags. A duo of Ivory and TJ Yeldon will do wonders for a Jags offence on the rise. This will take pressure off Blake Bortles and allow the Jags a more balanced attacks that should help the compete in that pathetic excuse of a division.

Daryl Smith of the Ravens was cut today after acumulating 122 tackles last year. Despite his age (33), Smith can still play at a high level. The reason for his release has more to do with the Ravens cap situation then anything. Also the rise of future star CJ Mosely, made him somewhat expendable. End of an era in chicago. Mr. Matt Forte will no longer be carrying the rock. This is a classic example of the depreciating running back pool. You've got one of the best offensive players in franchise history reach the age of thirty and just like that hes done. Sure they have langford (who I think will excel) but that is beside the point. The big issue here is I think the bears will live to regret this. Forte has a lot left in the tank and strategic use for a contender could push said team over the top (New England). This is one of those win-win situations. The bears get younger and cheaper and Forte goes somewhere he might win a superbowl. The ideal situation.

Eddie Lacy's fat ass

The usually low key Mcarthy confirmed what everyone with a brain was thinking: Eddie Lacy has been a fat sack of shit all year. Anytime you get called out by a coach who doesn't speak, you know you are in trouble. Lacy's problem is he plays the wrong position. If he was on the o or d line this behaviour wouldn't matter. However, when you run for a living it might dawn on you to, you know be in shape. Like cardio wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. It is kind of hard when you live in Wisconsin thought. A place known for its beers and bratwurst, not a lot of options for a dude with a massive appetite. In all seriousness though, this is kind of tragedy. This guy is a top 5 back when he is not eating everything in site. You have your whole life to gain a billion pounds but only a small window as an NFL running back.....sort your shit out.
