Chargers grab Benjamin

Chargers grab Travis Benjamin yesterday to upgrade their receiver corps. With the lose of Malcolm Floyd, the general lack of speed in their receiver corps and the shitty punt returning, this move couldn't be better for San Diego. Benjamin is an ascending player who almost reached 1,000 yards last year. Keep in mind that was with the Browns shitty qbs. Just imagine what he could do with Rivers passing him the ball. This could prove to be a major steel for the Chargers.

Tom Brady seemed destine to ride off into the sunset on a half functional body and a relatively intact brain, donning a Patriots jersey. It seems that the ancient quarterback and his morally inept team had something else in mind. Brady met with Belicheck and thats that, no progress, no give and take. The XFL rule that the NFL must adopt

The XFL has burst onto the scene. By burst I mean the league has yet to fold. In all seriousness, as a football fan I am just happy there is semi-coherent football being played. Sure quarterback play isn't up to snuff (with the exception of a couple guys) but the XFL is doing something very cool. Other leagues have failed because they try and emulate or compete with the NFL. The XFL had basically filled a need (spring football) and provided enough wild concepts to keep your average fan somewhat interested. Honestly thats all football loving degenerates like myself need. The NFL would be wise to check their immense egos and improve their game through a key rule change.  The adoption of the XFL's revolutionary kickoff structure is a must for the league.
