Romo's back but who gives a shit?

The answer is that crazy bastard Jerry Jones. At this point he is a glorified Al Davis who loves old qbs as much as Al loves speed. The good news for Cowboys fans is that this call is more then just his. You saw it with the Johnny Manziel fiasco. Stephen Jones really runs the show and the family ties allow him to literally put Gramps in restraints. But you keep Jerry happy, you let him run his mouth and stir the pot and when it comes down to it Steve makes the call. The key is to make Jerry feel like he actually made the call. Very unfortunate that Mark Davis was too busy going to Hooters while his pops ran the Raiders into the ground. If the Boys actually put Romo back in they will ruin Dak's confidence. Not to mention at some point Romo will get hurt and/or lose them a game with a shitty pick. They will then have to have that awkward convo with Dak. Do the right thing Dallas, Prescott makes you a contender for the next 10 plus years. Romo maybe has one more good year left. No contest.

Tom Brady seemed destine to ride off into the sunset on a half functional body and a relatively intact brain, donning a Patriots jersey. It seems that the ancient quarterback and his morally inept team had something else in mind. Brady met with Belicheck and thats that, no progress, no give and take. The XFL rule that the NFL must adopt

The XFL has burst onto the scene. By burst I mean the league has yet to fold. In all seriousness, as a football fan I am just happy there is semi-coherent football being played. Sure quarterback play isn't up to snuff (with the exception of a couple guys) but the XFL is doing something very cool. Other leagues have failed because they try and emulate or compete with the NFL. The XFL had basically filled a need (spring football) and provided enough wild concepts to keep your average fan somewhat interested. Honestly thats all football loving degenerates like myself need. The NFL would be wise to check their immense egos and improve their game through a key rule change.  The adoption of the XFL's revolutionary kickoff structure is a must for the league.
