Fuck this is starting to get frustrated. Look, I will openly admit that this team is not as good as I thought they were. However, the way that we have lost some of these games is actually ridiculous. There was the shitty snap in week 1, the league making up rules for Bob Wagner last week, the bad snap in Buffalo and then this week. We got outplayed this week plain and simple. The Panthers jumped down our throats early and dominated the first half. To the credit of this team, they kept fighting and almost came all the way back. My big issue was obviously the Palmer fumble. You gotta love when the officials call it one way on the field and then the league tells you latter that it was the wrong call. That was obviously a pass, any retard could have seen that. Also the penalties we got were a little ridiculous. Many of them were warranted but some of the holding calls we got in the second half were borderline ludacris. Anytime you have a 2 and 44, the officials might be calling a few to many holds, no? I can complain about the officials until the cows come home but the real problems are apparent. The o-line was scary bad, Arians abandoned the run too quick, PP had a rare shitty game and the defence is night and day without Tyrann. Unfortunately, Mathieu is gone for a few weeks and Veldheer could be gone for the year. Adjustments must be made on offence. I love BA to death but teams are begging us to throw the ball short. We did so in the second half and the offence finally started to ball out. Also Palmer needs the short game, the line cant hold up for 3 plus seconds every single pass play. Palmer was sacked a scary amount and his age and injury history say this is not sustainable. I'm still optimistic as the NFC as a conference is absolute shit. Couple that with the fact we are only a game and half back and the season is far from over. Im forever the optimist.
