Cards roundup

I know I'm mad late on this recap blog. I have spent this week wallowing in the sorrow of another heartbreaking victory while busting my ass getting ready for exam season. Better late then never right? Anyways, what is there to say. The same problems that have been plaguing us all year came to the forefront. Oline is swiss cheese (espically minus veldheer), deepball is non-exisitent and special teams fuckin stinks. Combine that with another absentee performance from Nelson and Brown and you have a full fledge implosion of a once great team. The refs fuck us in the ass, there is no way around that but the difference in this game were two plays. Scratch that, two preventable plays. Patterson's ridiculous kick return and Rhodes pick six. A Cardinals insider said it best: this is no longer a good team playing poorly, this is an average team playing average as fuck. On the plus side, the defence is a force to be reckoned with. They have only allowed 7 passing tds all year, the combo of Jones and Golden is among the NFLs best and our best defensive player isnt even playing right now. Look, I'm a crazy person and forever an optimist. I legitimately think this team can win out and make the playoffs. We are average right now but all it takes is a few good players showing up, an offensive tweak (more running and short passes) and a little good luck and were in this thing. Just remember that 2-3 losses were completely on the special teams. This is an average team that, if they play to their potential is still built for a playoff run. I'm a lunatic but dont count the boys out just yet
