Norv Turner steps down

Wierd, Weird move. Sure the offence is absolute garbage in Minnesota but they literally have no one of note accept Rudolph. The line is junk (Smith and Khalil on IR), Bradford is Bradford, receivers are average and so are Mckinnon and Asiata. Its a no win situation and maybe Norv Turner recognized that. Guy is way to old to put up this Sam Bradford charade that somehow tricked people not 3 weeks ago. Norv's scene it all and I know he doesn't want to remembered as the guy who couldn't put up 17 points a game. Its almost too much pressure with how good that defence is. I'll always remember Norv as the fuckin idiot who couldn't win with LT but the guy can coach. You have to think this is the end for him. We might see him in a "consultant" role soon enough but I'd be surprised if he coached another offence. Time to panic Vikings fans.

The man, the myth, the legend. A fixture of professional sports for the last 20 years. Tom Brady seemed destine to ride off into the sunset on a half functional body and a relatively intact brain, donning a Patriots jersey. It seems that the ancient quarterback and his morally inept team had something else in mind. Brady met with Belicheck and thats that, no progress, no give and take. It seemed like a rather Belicheckian end to a 20 year long domination tour. The coach, of course, is known as an analytical decision maker who rather cut a player too early than too late. Anyone who watched Brady last year saw a noticeable drop in all statistical categories. When you arer 42 years old it is not unreasonable to see a steady decline in production. The XFL rule that the NFL must adopt

The XFL has burst onto the scene. By burst I mean the league has yet to fold. In all seriousness, as a football fan I am just happy there is semi-coherent football being played. Sure quarterback play isn't up to snuff (with the exception of a couple guys) but the XFL is doing something very cool. Other leagues have failed because they try and emulate or compete with the NFL. The XFL had basically filled a need (spring football) and provided enough wild concepts to keep your average fan somewhat interested. Honestly thats all football loving degenerates like myself need. The NFL would be wise to check their immense egos and improve their game through a key rule change.  The adoption of the XFL's revolutionary kickoff structure is a must for the league.
