The Broncos need to pipe down

When has shit talking the Pats ever worked out for anyone. Listen I hate the Pats as much as the next guy but it seems everytime you shit talk them they crush you. Denver has been going off all week on Brady and Gronk and it is not helping anyone but the Pats. I have to say Gronk also roasted them on twitter, if you missed it heres the link http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/01/20/gronkowski-takes-issue-with-broncos-low-blows/. The one thing they did do right was getting the refs on their side via calling Gronk out for pushing off. If nothing else this has the makings of a good old fashion hate-off between two teams who appear to straight up despise each other. Sunday can't come soon enough.

The man, the myth, the legend. A fixture of professional sports for the last 20 years. Tom Brady seemed destine to ride off into the sunset on a half functional body and a relatively intact brain, donning a Patriots jersey. It seems that the ancient quarterback and his morally inept team had something else in mind. Brady met with Belicheck and thats that, no progress, no give and take. It seemed like a rather Belicheckian end to a 20 year long domination tour. The coach, of course, is known as an analytical decision maker who rather cut a player too early than too late. The XFL rule that the NFL must adopt

The XFL has burst onto the scene. By burst I mean the league has yet to fold. In all seriousness, as a football fan I am just happy there is semi-coherent football being played. Sure quarterback play isn't up to snuff (with the exception of a couple guys) but the XFL is doing something very cool. Other leagues have failed because they try and emulate or compete with the NFL. The XFL had basically filled a need (spring football) and provided enough wild concepts to keep your average fan somewhat interested. Honestly thats all football loving degenerates like myself need. The NFL would be wise to check their immense egos and improve their game through a key rule change.  The adoption of the XFL's revolutionary kickoff structure is a must for the league.
