Is Captian Kirk the answer?

When I say captain Kirk, I am referring to Kirk Cousins. Maybe you've heard of him. The white guy who backed up RG3. The dude who lead a relatively listless redskin team to the playoffs, yeah that guy. This guy deserves some love in the most contractual way possible. Apparently, not everyone feels this way. Some dumbass at bleacher report doesn't think so. Look everyone is entitled to an opinion but when said opinion goes against fact....you have yourself a dumbass. This guy was talking about about advanced accuracy, what the fuck does that even mean? He says that Kirk benefits from short passes. So do peyton manning, tom brady and drew brees. He also claims that Cousins benefitted from dropped interceptions (again which qb doesnt). Then there was my personal favorite, strength of schedule. Let me tell you something about strength of schedule folks, no one on the team can control it. All you can do is win as many games as possible. The bottom line is that Cousins has proven himself enough and enough is all you need at quarterback. It's a premium position and a playoff berth is indicative of at least a couple years and a new contract. When you consider desean jackson was out a good chunk of the year and their lack of a running game, Cousins excelled. Sure he had pierre garcon and jordan reed but an offence with three great players often gets exposed. After week 7 this offence did everything but get exposed. Maybe Kirk is not a bonafide franchise quarterback but he sure is an above average starter that a lot of teams would kill for. Pay the fuckin man Washington.
