Divisional Round Preview: Steelers-Broncos

Weird game. Vontaze Burfict has single handily destroyed Pitts most important players. Ben and Brown last week and Bell early in the season. On the other side, the broncos have made the puzzling decision to go back to Peyton Manning. Oswieler is the present and the future  and he has proven as such (save the Chargers game). He gives them the best chance to win period. Peyton had his moment in the sun but he just cant get it done anymore (just look at his regular season stats). The fact of the matter is it doesnt matter. Peyton just needs to take care of the ball and the defence will do the rest. Pitt doesnt really have a chance in this game. Ben, while tough cant really throw the deep ball with his shoulder and his number one target is out. Couple that with the continued absence of deanglo williams and you have a real issue. Unless Martavis Bryant and Fitz Toussiant turn in ridculous games, the Denver defence will have a field day. X-Factors include: Bryant and Toussiant and for Denver, obviously Manning.

Free agency roundup part 2

Teddy Bridgewater: The Panthers decided to turn the page on Cam Newton after another injury- plagued season. The bizarrely haired, hieroglyphic writing QB was due for a change of scenery. Bridgewater, on the other hand, flashed serious skill while Drew Brees was on the shelf. He is still only 27 and could be a very good quarterback for Matt Rhule and co. He is a young qb on a reasonable deal, should be a win-win for both sides. Ryan Tannehill: I know I said I would focus on guys who changed teams, however I would be remiss if I did not address Tanny. The talented quarterback peeked at the right time down the stretch. He tore up the league in the second half of the season throwing 22 tds and 6 picks. In fact he and Derrick Henry almost got the Titans to a superbowl. Tannehill is good but hes not 4 years and 118 million dollars good. I think the Titans will live to regret this decision. Its like Chirstmas

In these times of uncertainty it is rare that we receive any good news. Things appear to be getting more and more grim by the day. The coronavirius is like a freight train forcing quarantines and cancelling sports left and right. No one knows what tomorrow holds and it is a little unsettling. So when one is presented with good news it can be a great change of pace. If you are a Cardinals fan, like myself and three other people outside of Phoenix then yesterday was a glorious day. Deandre Hopkins is a Cardinal, I repeat, possibly the best receiver in the the league is a Cardinal! I know what you are thinking, we probably gave up too much.
