Watt on the shelf

Devastating loss for the Texans. JJ Watt is out for a minimum 8 weeks, after re-injuring his back last week. He literally has no one to blame but himself on this one. Maybe, a little harsh but hear me out. He waited until late in the offseason to have the surgery and instead of waiting the prescribed few weeks he forced his way back onto the field. I'm no doctor but I don't think you should fuck around with a back injury. This sucks for Texans fans but the harsh reality is Mr. Watt made a number of mistakes in timing of surgery and disregard for doctors orders. Apparently, this is an injury that might effect his long term health as well. This is what you get for not listening to a doctor, I mean he only went to medical school. "Waits for karma to hit Tyrann Mathieu"", knock on fuckin wood cards fans.

The man, the myth, the legend. A fixture of professional sports for the last 20 years. Tom Brady seemed destine to ride off into the sunset on a half functional body and a relatively intact brain, donning a Patriots jersey. It seems that the ancient quarterback and his morally inept team had something else in mind. Brady met with Belicheck and thats that, no progress, no give and take. The XFL rule that the NFL must adopt

The XFL has burst onto the scene. By burst I mean the league has yet to fold. In all seriousness, as a football fan I am just happy there is semi-coherent football being played. Sure quarterback play isn't up to snuff (with the exception of a couple guys) but the XFL is doing something very cool. Other leagues have failed because they try and emulate or compete with the NFL. The XFL had basically filled a need (spring football) and provided enough wild concepts to keep your average fan somewhat interested. Honestly thats all football loving degenerates like myself need. The NFL would be wise to check their immense egos and improve their game through a key rule change.  The adoption of the XFL's revolutionary kickoff structure is a must for the league.
