Russell Wilson
*Tries to check Cardinal bias at the door.
One of the more under appreciated story lines of the entire season is the Seahawks inability to let Russell Wilson heal. A little background, the guy twisted his ankle real bad in the Miami opener. Flash forward to this week and the hit he took made it look like he snapped his fuckin ACL. Official diagnosis is a sprained MCL and sprained ankle. Now, a franchise with a young quarterback and multiple superbowl appearances, tend to error on the side of caution when it comes to shit like this. Not Pete Carroll, the dumbass already said Wilson is playing on Sunday. Thats insane to me. Wilson is heavly dependent on his legs and ability to create something out of nothing. Two leg injuries heavily decreases his ineffectiveness. To not even entertain the idea of sitting him for a week is beyond insane. This is eerly similar to what the Redskins did to RG3 in his first year. Sure it didnt all happen in the same game but the pressure of carrying this offence is forcing Seattle to make some borderline lunatic decisions in the handling of their franchise player. As a Cards fan, I could care less. Play the fucker and watch him get more injured, that only helps our cause. In all seriousness though, where are all the headlines. This is kind of a big deal.
