Monday night recap

Those fuckin games sucked guys. I was all in on the Redskins Steelers. To be fair it was competitive for a bit and then Deanglo Williams and antonio brown did the damn thing, as per usual. Captain Kirk the checkdown master still hasnt beaten a team with a winning record. Oh and the run game stinks. Norman should have maybe followed Brown. Again Im not a coach but didnt that seem obvious?

Is there anything really to say about the night game? Im just glad I went to bed early. The Rams should be seriously concerned about their offence. Sure the defence wasnt great but they were on the field the entire time..soo. Case Keenum stinks, the offensive line stinks, Tavon looked meh. The one bright spot was Kenny Britt, who I didnt even know was still alive. Chip Kelly can coach man. Hes a psychopath and a lot of players hate him but the man can coach, I will say that. Also that dline isn't to bad. Good thing the drunk guy ran onto the field or their might have been a mutiny

Teddy Bridgewater: The Panthers decided to turn the page on Cam Newton after another injury- plagued season. The bizarrely haired, hieroglyphic writing QB was due for a change of scenery. Bridgewater, on the other hand, flashed serious skill while Drew Brees was on the shelf. He is still only 27 and could be a very good quarterback for Matt Rhule and co. The man, the myth, the legend. A fixture of professional sports for the last 20 years. Tom Brady seemed destine to ride off into the sunset on a half functional body and a relatively intact brain, donning a Patriots jersey. It seems that the ancient quarterback and his morally inept team had something else in mind. Brady met with Belicheck and thats that, no progress, no give and take. It seemed like a rather Belicheckian end to a 20 year long domination tour. The coach, of course, is known as an analytical decision maker who rather cut a player too early than too late. Anyone who watched Brady last year saw a noticeable drop in all statistical categories. When you arer 42 years old it is not unreasonable to see a steady decline in production. The XFL rule that the NFL must adopt

The XFL has burst onto the scene. By burst I mean the league has yet to fold. In all seriousness, as a football fan I am just happy there is semi-coherent football being played. Sure quarterback play isn't up to snuff (with the exception of a couple guys) but the XFL is doing something very cool. Other leagues have failed because they try and emulate or compete with the NFL. The XFL had basically filled a need (spring football) and provided enough wild concepts to keep your average fan somewhat interested. Honestly thats all football loving degenerates like myself need. The NFL would be wise to check their immense egos and improve their game through a key rule change.  The adoption of the XFL's revolutionary kickoff structure is a must for the league.
