Cam Newton's brains

Helluva a game yesterday, exciting back and forth....what more can you ask for. The first game of the season inevitably brings on a bunch of over blown stories because footballs finally back. My favorite of the stories is Cam Newtons head. Theres no doubt that the guy took a beating last night. Thats what happens when you face the Broncos. However, this nonsense outrage on whether he was tested for a concussion is trash. If you get sneezed on the NFL will test you for consussion. Theres also this weird thing, not sure if you guys have heard of it but you get hit in the head and somhow dont get concussion. I know crazy right? Furthermore, this whole "Cam doesnt get any penalties arguement" is B.S. The guy is fuckin impossible to tackle, so yeah he needs to be smashed by four guys in order to go down. This is not Brady we are talking about here, this guy wont just go down if he sees a defnder. Also, look at the tape. He goes head first into the 300 hundred pounders, he invties contact. Finally, he passed four concussion tests so if everyone would kindly shut the fuck up...thatd be great.

The man, the myth, the legend. A fixture of professional sports for the last 20 years. Tom Brady seemed destine to ride off into the sunset on a half functional body and a relatively intact brain, donning a Patriots jersey. It seems that the ancient quarterback and his morally inept team had something else in mind. Brady met with Belicheck and thats that, no progress, no give and take. It seemed like a rather Belicheckian end to a 20 year long domination tour. The coach, of course, is known as an analytical decision maker who rather cut a player too early than too late. Anyone who watched Brady last year saw a noticeable drop in all statistical categories. When you arer 42 years old it is not unreasonable to see a steady decline in production. The XFL rule that the NFL must adopt

The XFL has burst onto the scene. By burst I mean the league has yet to fold. In all seriousness, as a football fan I am just happy there is semi-coherent football being played. Sure quarterback play isn't up to snuff (with the exception of a couple guys) but the XFL is doing something very cool. Other leagues have failed because they try and emulate or compete with the NFL. The XFL had basically filled a need (spring football) and provided enough wild concepts to keep your average fan somewhat interested. Honestly thats all football loving degenerates like myself need. The NFL would be wise to check their immense egos and improve their game through a key rule change.  The adoption of the XFL's revolutionary kickoff structure is a must for the league.
