Pats Texans preview

Instability at qb. In past years, you would think I was talking about the Texans. But no, its the pats with the stability issue. I mean if anyone can overcome this thing its the Pats (as much as it pains me to say it). However, I have to say, not signing a qb was a borderline retarded move. Like honestly guys? Julian Edleman is going to be your backup qb. Yeah, take your best offensive player (not named Brady) and put him in a position he hasnt played at the NFL level. Oh yeah and hes injury prone and their oline is shit. But hey its your funeral. I sure as hell hope Legarrette Blount (or however you spell that trip of a first name) came to play because hes gonna be busy tonight. On the Texans side it will be interesting to see how New England shuts down all of the weapons on offence. Sure they havent put together a full game of production yet but a team featuring Miller, Fuller, Hopkins and an emerging qb in Oswieler is no joke. If we are being truly honest this will most likely be a grind it out game that stays in the late teens/ early 20's in terms of scoring. The Pats will slow down the other team like they always do. A couple big plays will decide this one. Look for either Hopkins or Fuller to score on a big play that will decide a tight game. Oh yeah and the Texans defence is sick.

The man, the myth, the legend. A fixture of professional sports for the last 20 years. Tom Brady seemed destine to ride off into the sunset on a half functional body and a relatively intact brain, donning a Patriots jersey. It seems that the ancient quarterback and his morally inept team had something else in mind. Brady met with Belicheck and thats that, no progress, no give and take. The XFL rule that the NFL must adopt

The XFL has burst onto the scene. By burst I mean the league has yet to fold. In all seriousness, as a football fan I am just happy there is semi-coherent football being played. Sure quarterback play isn't up to snuff (with the exception of a couple guys) but the XFL is doing something very cool. Other leagues have failed because they try and emulate or compete with the NFL. The XFL had basically filled a need (spring football) and provided enough wild concepts to keep your average fan somewhat interested. Honestly thats all football loving degenerates like myself need. The NFL would be wise to check their immense egos and improve their game through a key rule change.  The adoption of the XFL's revolutionary kickoff structure is a must for the league.
