Rapid fire takeaways week 2 part 3

Lions-Giants: Does anyone know why the Giants cant score? It might have something to do with the trash oline or the total lack of a running game but come on here. You have a superbowl winning qb, one of the best receivers in the game and a plethora of other weapons around you. Not to mention a defence that is easily a top 5 unit in football. What the fuck is happening here guys? The lions on the other hand look good. If ameer abdullah can continue to be above average this offence is totally set. Matt Stafford has been dominate since last year and he seems to really be clicking with his receivers. Eric Ebron is starting to the turn the corner and Kenny Golladay looks nice. Couple them with Marvin Jones and Golden Tate and you got a good looking offence. The defence has always been just good enough. However, the rise of Jarrad Davis has really helped this unit take the next step. Watch out for Detroit.

Broncos-Cowboys: Zeke Elliott has his first bad game as a pro and people are freaking out. Uh, this is the bronocs defence guys, I here they are pretty good. Dak was playing hurt so you gotta give him a pass here. The Boys were just straight up dominated on both sides of the ball. The defence was torched by none other then Trevor Siemian. Speaking of Semens, the guy balled out. Mike McCoy has a gift for putting his qbs in position to succeed and it looks like hes working his magic. Thomas and Sanders were their usual selves. The emergence of Bennie Fowler has been a great story for a team looking for a slot guy that can at least catch the ball. The running game looked really good with both CJ anderson and Jamal Charles playing well. I love me some Denver going forward. Now if only they kept TJ Ward.

Packers-Falcons: See NFC championship, it was basically the same thing. Packers took a nap in the first half as the flacons eviscerated them. They woke up in the third, had an amazing comeback attempt and came up just short. The falcons dont have the look of a team that is experiencing a superbowl hangover whatsoever.
