Rapid Fire Takeaways from Week 1 part 1

Patriots-Chiefs: The Chiefs look incredible. The defence was outstanding as per usual. Tyreek Hill and Kareem Hunt are the real deal. The Patriots offence will be fine but that defence, especially sans Hightower is atrocious. Also, Alex Smith must have learned how to throw the deep ball from Patty Mahomes.

Cardinals-Lions: Matt Stafford only plays well in the fourth, the only quarter that matters. Palmer had no idea what he was doing, lets hope that is not a common theme. David Johnson and DJ Humphries could be on the shelf, thus ending our playoff hopes. The defence looked great for stretches but Justin Bethel needs to step his shit up. Kenny Galloway can seriously ball. Detriots running game will continue to be an issue.

Jacksonville-Houston: This Jags defence is loaded, they can single-handedly win games for a team that would love just a few. Leonard Fournette looks capable of carrying an offence as long as Blake Bortles doesnt fuck it up. The loss of Allen Robinson will hurt but this team will surprise some people. The Texans look like shit. The offence was always a question mark and should experience growing pains as they break in Deshaun Watson. The defence needs to be better. This is a crew that can be the best unit in the league when they play to their potential. Both the D and Lamar Miller need to be dominate for this team to have a chance.

Raiders-Titans: Hes back, the man they call Beast Mode returned the field and looked like he never left. He was in peak form, trucking 350 pound lineman and carrying defenders on his back. This raiders team is the real deal and Derrick Carr picked up where he left off. Look for the Raiders to contend for the AFC crown. The Titans are a trendy playoff pick but they need some time to jell. Mariota was solid, yet unspectacular. Corey Davis came to play. The run game was largely held in check. This cannot be the norm for a team that relies so heavily on that facet of their offence.

P.S. I plan to follow up on every matchup from Sunday
