Jags have found a new coach

And the winner is....Doug Marrone. Yup you read that right. The guy who quit buffalo because of a lack of success. Just to put that in perspective he was 8-8 his last year. He quit, pocketed 4 mill and then became the offensive line coach for the Jags. Yup, that same shitty unit that allowed bortles to be rag dolled game in and game out. The best thing to do if your a pathetic excuse for a franchise is promote from within. Said no one ever. His first order of duty was to not fire anyone which blows my mind. The one redeeming factor for Marrone is that team actually started to look competent down the stretch. Unfortunately, that means losing games by single digits. Fortunately, for Jags fans its not all doom and gloom. They hired Tom COughlin as VP of football operations. This is a step in the right direction. Ole red face knows talent and he sure as shit knows discipline. A couple super bowl rings never hurts your acumen either. Things are on the up and up for a franchise that has literally no where to go but up.

Teddy Bridgewater: The Panthers decided to turn the page on Cam Newton after another injury- plagued season. The bizarrely haired, hieroglyphic writing QB was due for a change of scenery. Bridgewater, on the other hand, flashed serious skill while Drew Brees was on the shelf. He is still only 27 and could be a very good quarterback for Matt Rhule and co. He is a young qb on a reasonable deal, should be a win-win for both sides. Ryan Tannehill: I know I said I would focus on guys who changed teams, however I would be remiss if I did not address Tanny. The talented quarterback peeked at the right time down the stretch. He tore up the league in the second half of the season throwing 22 tds and 6 picks. In fact he and Derrick Henry almost got the Titans to a superbowl. Tannehill is good but hes not 4 years and 118 million dollars good. I think the Titans will live to regret this decision. Its like Chirstmas

In these times of uncertainty it is rare that we receive any good news. Things appear to be getting more and more grim by the day. The coronavirius is like a freight train forcing quarantines and cancelling sports left and right. No one knows what tomorrow holds and it is a little unsettling. So when one is presented with good news it can be a great change of pace. If you are a Cardinals fan, like myself and three other people outside of Phoenix then yesterday was a glorious day. Deandre Hopkins is a Cardinal, I repeat, possibly the best receiver in the the league is a Cardinal! I know what you are thinking, we probably gave up too much.
