The Medias evil empire grows

If there are two things the general media hates with passion it is Trump and the Patriots. Now both these are warranted of course. The Patriots are easy to hate with their success, questionable interpretations of the rules and lack of insider access to the media. Trump is also quite easy to hate as he is not exactly easy on the media or delicate with his words. So when the news broke that Brady, Kraft, Belicheck and Trump were all friends the media found its new cash cow. Enter the conspiracy theories, moral outrage and general smear campaigns that followed. The NFL's great enemy now alines with public enemy number one, you cant script that. As expected media day or opening night or whatever "rebranding" the NFL has done to pander to my short attention spanned cohorts, turned into a political side show. When Brady wasn't answering questions about his dad or deflated balls he was seething through his smile at the constant Trump questions. Each one making his smile less...

John Lynch named GM of the Niners

Yup, you read that right. John Lynch former player and current NFL analyst has been named the GM of a pro football team. In this unprecedented move, the struggling franchise decided to choose a man with no NFL front office experience to guide their franchise. Am I the only one that thinks signing an analyst to a six year deal is absolutely ludicrous. The niners are a team in deep dysfunction. They needed a steady, experienced hand to build this franchise up again. Instead they chose an inexperienced former player and one of the youngest head coaches in the league. This a gamble of epic proportions. Considering their last coach only stuck around for a season, this duo better be ready to rock. P.S. Love the Shanahan hiring, you jsut have to pair a guy that young with an experienced NFL front office guy and they failed miserably in this

Sherman Injury Nonsense

Seattle just took a page out of the old Patriots playbook. The story goes a little something like this: teams season ends, star player doesn't play well; coach comes out and says star player played with an undisclosed injury. Its really genius when you think about it. You keep your star player from being picked apart by the media. Instead they suck his dick. The say things like "Gotta love the passion" or "this guy is another level". When in truth he is either declining or had a shitty year. Case in point Tom Brady. Whenever the Pats are eliminated from the playoffs, Brady played through an injury that no one talked about all year. Coincidence, I think not. Side note, the reason the league outlawed the probable label was because said Patriots list Brady as probable with some made up bullshit every week. This brings me to Sherman. The Seahawks seem to think he can cover receivers one-on-one. The guy cant cover your teams third receiver one-on-one. He plays his li...

Philip Rivers is kind of a baby back bitch

Gotta love Philip Rivers. Chargers get relocated to LA which is just a couple hours away. Instead of being grateful he didn't get moved to fuckin Alaska, the guy cries up a storm. Look I know Dean Spanos is a piece of shit. Every player who has tried to negotiate a contract with him will tell you that but come on Philip. Your still in warm Cali, life is good. Him holding back tears was laugh out loud funny. Do you guys know the real reason Phil is crying like a little girl? He literally has nine kids and now he has to move. Just think about that. Switching schools, packing up all of their shit. Dealing with the whole "I don't want to leave daddy". Must be a goddamn nightmare. Sack up Philip, instead of crying about it why don't, you know stop having kids for a change. The less kids the better, you heard it here first

AFC Championship recap

Disappointed. Disappointed Leveon Bell didn't fight through injury. Disappointed Sammie Coates cant catch a cold. Disappointed the steelers couldn't cover a Lacrosse player. New year same Patriots, this shit is getting old. Can someone in AFC knock that stupid smile off Bradys face. I need someone to beat the Patriots so bad Bill Belicheck has an expression on his face. I just need some parity in the Super Bowl. The most insufferable team with the most insufferable fans are again so good we cant say anything to them. Hopefully this Atlanta team is up to the task, no one in the AFC was.

NFC Championship Game recap

Who saw that coming, I sure as hell didnt. Talk about your all time backfires predicting a 45-40 game. However, I did say Atlanta would win so props to me on that one. The inuries had to catch up to Green Bay sometime. Let us not forget that this is (or was) and incredibly flawed green bay team with an average defence and a banged up offence. Credit where credit is due for the Falcons though. Has there ever been a final four team as slept on as this group? Not a fuckin chance. They built an offensive juggernaut and a no name defence that is criminally underatted and they were by far the better team yesterday. Was Rodgers off? Sure he was but one man can only take a team so far. Toss in the fact that there corners are maybe the worst in the league and you have a full on shit show. Im excited for these falcons. They have such a diverse offence, it will be interesting to see how the Patriots scheme for the super bowl. They may triple cover Julio, who by the way might be the best player in...

NFC Championship Game preview

Im so pumped on this game. As someone who loves an old fashion shootout this fits the bill. It has all the makings of a game that could reach the forties. You got two MVP caliber qbs who love the deep ball. Two terrible pass defences, a plethora of skilled recievers and running back who are explosive out of the backfield. Atlanta does have the edge however. Green Bay has been banged up all week. Their top three recievers are all questionable and the flu has been passing through the lockeroom like wild fire. Thats not to say im counting Aaron Rodgers out because thats just retarded. It just comes down to who can sustain a high flying offence for longer. For Atlanta, it appears all of their key players are relatively healthy. X-factor for both teams is their secondaries. Both have talent but they cant seem to put it together. Atlanta has the slight advantage here with their safeties both excelling in coverage. Look for Julio to fuckin dominate Ladarius Gunter. Atlanta 45-40. Its gonna...

AFC Championship Preview

This should be a good one. Not the high scoring, 400 yard passing kind of good one. More like an early 20s dog fight where two underatted defences will slug it out. Both qbs are capable of taking over a game but this has the feel of who can defend the best. For New England the key will be Leveon Bell. If they can limit Bell and force the steelers to be  one dimensional then they have areal shot. Big Ben isnt 100 percent (and he hasnt been in about 10 years), therefore a couple hard shots on him should set the tone. Malcolm Butler and Antonio Brown will be one hell of a matchup with Brown getting the better of him on a couple plays as he does everybody. Brady should be able to move the ball on Pitts ever weak secondary but his redzone production should decide the game. For Big Ben, getting the ball out of his hands and protecting himself will be the most important. He cant afford to put himself in position to further injure himself. X-Factor for Pitt will be Sean Davis. The young sa...

Edleman-Big Ben

Classic case of media doctored story. Edleman hears that the Steelers called them assholes and proceeds to say that every organization is run differently. But of course the story starved media twists his words to make it seem like he was dissing the Steelers. And of course that big, alleged rapist meathead big ben takes the bait. Proceeds to say that the steelers trophys speak for themselves. Interseting route to take against a team with just as many trophies. If nothing else the steelers continue to give Belicheat and the Pats more and more bulletin board material. I have to say though, bad blood is what I want in a football game. I want guys to try and decapitate each other. Give me a brawl, give me all that trashtalk. This is what the NFL was before they were postured as the moral authority in sports and society by the pathetic media and that ginger fuck that runs the league.

Antonio Brown is a dumbass

Goddamn millenials always on instachat and snapface. In all seriousness, why you gotta livestream your lockerroom. Literally wait 20 minutes and then you can live stream your stupid ass smile. Since this is AB were talking about he gets a slap on the wrist and Tomlin trashes him in the media. The worst part of this entire story is people thinking mike tomlin was out of line for calling the pats assholes. This is a football lockerroom not a daycare. These dudes just won a playoff game. Whats Mike gonna say "good job guys, that was nice hustle. Lets get ready to face the Patriots they are really good". No hes gonna get his guys pumped the fuck up to play the toughest game of the season. In summary, dont film your lockerroom and people swear get over it.

coaching changes

The last week saw a some coaching vacancies filled, a lot of interesting hires to say the least Vance Joesph, Broncos: Weird hire, this dude was nothing special in Miami. In fact the defence sucked dick this year. There are rumblings about his ability to inspire and bring palyers together. Hopefully hes good at that cause his defences were average at best. A good sign is his decision to sign Mike Mccoy as OC and Bill Musgrave as QB coach. Both of these guys are experienced and should help a defensive minded guy with his offence. Grade C+, though I could eat my fuckin words because John Elway has been right in the past. Anthony Lynn, Chargers: Weird move. Lynn was a running backs coach in Buffalo until being promoted to OC this year. The Bills offence was decent but nothing special. Usually an upstart coordinator has to prove his worth for a few years before getting head coaching looks. Guess no one wants to deal with the Spanos family and there frugal spending and shady dealing....

Chiefs-Steelers recap

Bizarre yet excting ball game. Both defences showed the fuck up. Chris Boswell was fuckin incredible and Leveon Bell shows why he might be the best player in football. Gotta feel bad for Andy Reid. Just another embarassing display of time management but you know what he showed huge balls on that final drive. Unfortunately, Eric Fisher cant tackle James Harrison and no amount of Travis Kelce whining is going to change that. Big Ben made just enough plays to set this team up for victory. Alex Smith continued to show what everyone knows, hes not winning you shit but hes not losing you shit. I actually was hoping they got that two point conversion for his sake. Converting two fourth downs and scoring that td was big time. Bad luck like you read about. Anyways, Pittsburgh is a much better match for New England next week. They can beat you in so many ways and that defence is criminally underatted.

Packers-Cowboys roundup

What a fuckin game. Who would have thought that Dak Prescott could trade points with the likes of Aaron Rodgers. We've seen this story before, rookie has great year, rookie crumbles in the playoffs. Dak and Elliott are a different breed of rooks who will succeed in this league for a long time. That being said Aaron Rodgers is still fuckin ridiculous. No Jordy Nelson, no problem. The man possessed had some amazing throws including one of the best ive seen in the Jared Cook completion. That combined with a surprising effort by Micah Hyde and the kicking prowess of Mason Crosby had Green Bay stealing a fuckin thriller. One of those games that you hope for after suffering through and embarrassment of a wild card weekend. I have to say Atlanta-Greenbay is gonna be fuckin electricity next week

Nelson factures ribs

Tough blow to the pack before their biggest game in a while. Jordy Nelson fractured his ribs and had to spend a night in the hospital. He was ruled out of the game yesterday. Personally, I dont believe that this will stop the cheeseheads from putting dallas in their place. Rodgers played much of the wildcard without him and still flourished. This is not to say that Jordy is a hell of a receiver, he absolutely is and underatted at that. This speaks more to Rodgers and the ability of Davante Adams and Randall Cobb. I firmly believe that Green Bay will beat Dallas in a close game that could come down to the final minutes. Prescott vs Rodgers, Im taking Rodgers over any rookie. Experience matters in the playoffs and the Boys are about to find out.

Jags have found a new coach

And the winner is....Doug Marrone. Yup you read that right. The guy who quit buffalo because of a lack of success. Just to put that in perspective he was 8-8 his last year. He quit, pocketed 4 mill and then became the offensive line coach for the Jags. Yup, that same shitty unit that allowed bortles to be rag dolled game in and game out. The best thing to do if your a pathetic excuse for a franchise is promote from within. Said no one ever. His first order of duty was to not fire anyone which blows my mind. The one redeeming factor for Marrone is that team actually started to look competent down the stretch. Unfortunately, that means losing games by single digits. Fortunately, for Jags fans its not all doom and gloom. They hired Tom COughlin as VP of football operations. This is a step in the right direction. Ole red face knows talent and he sure as shit knows discipline. A couple super bowl rings never hurts your acumen either. Things are on the up and up for a franchise that has lite...

I see you Randall Cobb

Randall Cobb's two year disappearing act appears to be over. To be fair, him "disappearing" is catching 60 balls but I digress. Cobb reminded the world why he is so dangerous with three tds in a fuckin playoff game. Now it helps that your qb is a freak of nature who completes hail marys way to casually. Everyone wants to talk about Rodgers, Bell and Big Ben but I say Cobb is by far the MVP of wild card weekend. He helped lift green bay after an uneven first quarter. Its gonna be one hell of a matchup in Dallas.

was wildcard weekend the single worst playoff weekend in league history?

Yes, yes it was. Look at the bright side, theres a good reason for this. Two teams played backups, one is Detroit (what did you expect) and the other had hungover recivers and bad eli manning (as oppose to good eli who wins superbowls). So ya that sucked big ol donkey dick. Look at the bright side every game is going to be sick next week. Well accept the pats game which has them favored by a ridiculous 16.5 points. Did wild card weekend suck yes? Should you be surprised? fuck no. Two games were predetermined and two teams were basically no shows (Det, NYG). Greener pastures ahead, I hope. Plus we can all laugh at Gaydell Beckham for effectively losing the game and then molesting a wall in protest. So raise your glasses and ingest some OBJ tears. Unless your a giants fan, then you can fuck right off.

Playoff preview: Miami-Pitt

Huge matchup here. The upstart Dolphins have had a magical season under upstart Adam Gase. Unfortunately, in true phins fashion Ryan Tannehill was lost to injury. However, there are conflicting reports that he might actually be ready for the wild card game. Hard to imagine with a partial tear in his acl. Though stranger things have happened (see Rivers, Phillip vs the colts in the playoffs). Luckily for Miami, they are in good hands with Matt Moore. He has been a steady producer with a pension for big plays. Despite the score in New England, Moore put the team in position to suceed time and time again. A couple bone headed fumbles and penalties were the difference. On the defensive side of the ball, its been a struggle. The line is capable of keeping the team in games but there secodary is abolsulety atrocious. Injuries have them starting fourth string no names at corner and safety. tough when your playing an offensive inclined team like Pitt. On the other side, Steelers fans are exc...

cards round up

feels good. Not in the traditional, your going to the playoffs good. Its more like a feels good to crush a struggling team into a blievien. And thats wht they get for scaring the shit out of me with that David Johnson injury. This is the performance that we had come to expect last year. Ending the year on a high note cannot be understated especially when your star might retire. Heres what we know: Arians and Palmer will be back. Unfortunately, Fitz is undecided and half the fuckin team is a free agent. So there are numerous decisions to be made. It sounds like the front office has a desire to keep the core intact. Remeber this is a team that went 4-1-1 in division play and lost about 5 games because of fuckin special teams. This is a classic case of a good team shooting themselves in the foot. Thats a big difference from getting your asses beat. Hopefully we can keep our studs and Kiem comes up clutch in the draft. I have to say Im stoked as fuck for next year. Espically with Johnson o...
