Shaq's back

Buffalo is getting stronger. A scary thing to consider after they just ripped off four straight. Now their defence is getting back their first round pick to pair with the out of nowhere Lorenzo Alexander. Combine this with Darues's return and we are looking at a bills team on the rise. Of course Rex is still the coach so you can expect 2-3 losses on sure mismanagement. This team might actually be in the playoff picture. This is until they decide to be Buffalo and end up 9-7. Yup there gonna charm us for a while, then lose a couple in a row and finally they will be one game short of the playoffs. Then heads will role. Its a damn shame because the Ryan brothers on the same team makes for excellent theater.

Teddy Bridgewater: The Panthers decided to turn the page on Cam Newton after another injury- plagued season. The bizarrely haired, hieroglyphic writing QB was due for a change of scenery. The man, the myth, the legend. A fixture of professional sports for the last 20 years. Tom Brady seemed destine to ride off into the sunset on a half functional body and a relatively intact brain, donning a Patriots jersey. It seems that the ancient quarterback and his morally inept team had something else in mind. Brady met with Belicheck and thats that, no progress, no give and take. It seemed like a rather Belicheckian end to a 20 year long domination tour. The coach, of course, is known as an analytical decision maker who rather cut a player too early than too late. Anyone who watched Brady last year saw a noticeable drop in all statistical categories. When you arer 42 years old it is not unreasonable to see a steady decline in production. The XFL rule that the NFL must adopt

The XFL has burst onto the scene. By burst I mean the league has yet to fold. In all seriousness, as a football fan I am just happy there is semi-coherent football being played. Sure quarterback play isn't up to snuff (with the exception of a couple guys) but the XFL is doing something very cool. Other leagues have failed because they try and emulate or compete with the NFL. The XFL had basically filled a need (spring football) and provided enough wild concepts to keep your average fan somewhat interested. Honestly thats all football loving degenerates like myself need. The NFL would be wise to check their immense egos and improve their game through a key rule change.  The adoption of the XFL's revolutionary kickoff structure is a must for the league.
