OBJ vs. the kicking net

Look, everyone who actually reads this knows I love to hate OBJ. Hes the fuckin worst. However, one of my favorite qualities in someone is self awareness. When you are self aware of some crazy shit you did and then were crucified for, thats a step in the right direction. OBJ has been the biggest delusional baby that I have ever seen in the NFL and thats saying a lot. But, one of the funniest things I have seen all year is his TD celebration on Sunday Night football. The guy makes a ridiculous catch and then proceeds to kiss and makeup with the kicking net. If Beckham starts making fun of himself like this, I will have no choice but to respect him the tinniest bit. I mean the damage has been done with this drama obsessed ballerina but that celebration was a step in the right direction

The man, the myth, the legend. A fixture of professional sports for the last 20 years. Tom Brady seemed destine to ride off into the sunset on a half functional body and a relatively intact brain, donning a Patriots jersey. It seems that the ancient quarterback and his morally inept team had something else in mind. Brady met with Belicheck and thats that, no progress, no give and take. It seemed like a rather Belicheckian end to a 20 year long domination tour. The coach, of course, is known as an analytical decision maker who rather cut a player too early than too late. The XFL rule that the NFL must adopt

The XFL has burst onto the scene. By burst I mean the league has yet to fold. In all seriousness, as a football fan I am just happy there is semi-coherent football being played. Sure quarterback play isn't up to snuff (with the exception of a couple guys) but the XFL is doing something very cool. Other leagues have failed because they try and emulate or compete with the NFL. The XFL had basically filled a need (spring football) and provided enough wild concepts to keep your average fan somewhat interested. Honestly thats all football loving degenerates like myself need. The NFL would be wise to check their immense egos and improve their game through a key rule change.  The adoption of the XFL's revolutionary kickoff structure is a must for the league.
