Colin SackorPick
This guy seems to have nine lives when it comes to media attention. Lets recap what has happened since free agency: Colin doesnt want to kneel anymore, is demanding up to 10 million dollars and everyone is losing their mind. A man of so called conviction, Kaep has decided to give up his "protest" of the national anthem in the name of his job. This is fine in my books but you cant posture about wanting change and then change your mind when money gets involved. Sure he has made a few large donations but lets not pretend he is the only athlete with a charity or foundation. Demanding 10 million is a little ridiculous. I get that someone overpaid for Oswieler and Glennon and that doenst make any sense, but come on man. You have steadily declined the last few years, the win totals arent there and your one hell of a polarizing figure. Its like Joe Thomas said: Hes a backup and teams dont want distractions from backup qbs, plain and simple. You could point to his stats but haven't we learned our lesson? Anyone who watched the niners play saw an inept offence with a struggling qb who got a lot of his stats against prevent defences when they were getting their asses kicked. He had limited interceptions but also took limited shots down the field. Lets not forget he won only one game out of the eleven he started. Finally, the outrage machine is fired up and the takes are laugh out loud funny. You have people calling the NFL racist, hes being blackballed for his beliefs, worse guys are getting contracts, the list goes on. If there is one thing I know about the NFL, it is a performance league. I mean look at some of the criminal pasts of a bunch of these guys, if you can play you will be signed. If you are a polarizing player you better be damn good at your job or else know one will touch you. We saw it with Tim Tebow, teams don't want their shitty players attracting extra attention to their teams.
