Brandon Marshall to the Giants

Well this is, in a word, interesting. Sure it looks great on paper. B-Marsh is one of the better receivers in the game capable of dominating any cornerback on a good day but his demeanour should be an interesting fit for the G-men. In case you have been living under a rock, Gaydell Beckham (hes Okay at football) is kind of a moody bitch with a tendency to lash out when things don't go his way. Sound familiar? Marshall is known for calling out teammates in a passive aggressive manner. Whether this is on his NFL talk show or to the media after a loss is anyones guess. Now close your eyes and imagine. In one corner you have a closeted gay who seems emotionally unstable because of his inability to come out of the closet. In the other corner you have a moody, passive aggressive whiner who has never been to the playoffs. Now both of these guys play the same position and tend to get, lets say displeased when they dont get the ball. Open your eyes and you have a confused Eli Manning petitioning the NFL for two footballs to keep these talented, yet crazy receivers happy. Ooooo this could get interesting. Of course if they address their oline and win this becomes a non-story but this is the G-men we are talking about here.

P.S. I cant wait for the stories of Odell destroying some inanimate object while B-marsh is telling reporters that someone (he wont say who) needs to keep his emotions in check. The New York media is about to feast.

The man, the myth, the legend. A fixture of professional sports for the last 20 years. Tom Brady seemed destine to ride off into the sunset on a half functional body and a relatively intact brain, donning a Patriots jersey. It seems that the ancient quarterback and his morally inept team had something else in mind. Brady met with Belicheck and thats that, no progress, no give and take. It seemed like a rather Belicheckian end to a 20 year long domination tour. The coach, of course, is known as an analytical decision maker who rather cut a player too early than too late. The XFL rule that the NFL must adopt

The XFL has burst onto the scene. By burst I mean the league has yet to fold. In all seriousness, as a football fan I am just happy there is semi-coherent football being played. Sure quarterback play isn't up to snuff (with the exception of a couple guys) but the XFL is doing something very cool. Other leagues have failed because they try and emulate or compete with the NFL. The XFL had basically filled a need (spring football) and provided enough wild concepts to keep your average fan somewhat interested. Honestly thats all football loving degenerates like myself need. The NFL would be wise to check their immense egos and improve their game through a key rule change.  The adoption of the XFL's revolutionary kickoff structure is a must for the league.
