Go on, take the money and run

Gotta love Demarco Murray. Guy signs a huge contract with 9 million up front, proceeds to suck and then calls out his coach. To top it all off he has the audacity to try and weazle his way out of philly to go back to dallas. Stop me if this isnt the craziest thing youve heard (well this the nfl, one of the craziest things youve heard). This is a running back who was caught sliding last year, you know the thing that qbs do.....yeah. Murray's always been a slightly above average back who couldnt stay healthy. Dallas oline got really good and then he followed suit. The smart thing would have been to stay but no, he thinks hes worth 8 mill a season. Which is fine, if you get offered that much money obviously take it but you have to know what your getting yourself into. You can't have it both ways Demarco, sack up and improve.

The man, the myth, the legend. A fixture of professional sports for the last 20 years. Tom Brady seemed destine to ride off into the sunset on a half functional body and a relatively intact brain, donning a Patriots jersey. It seems that the ancient quarterback and his morally inept team had something else in mind. Brady met with Belicheck and thats that, no progress, no give and take. It seemed like a rather Belicheckian end to a 20 year long domination tour. The coach, of course, is known as an analytical decision maker who rather cut a player too early than too late. The XFL rule that the NFL must adopt

The XFL has burst onto the scene. By burst I mean the league has yet to fold. In all seriousness, as a football fan I am just happy there is semi-coherent football being played. Sure quarterback play isn't up to snuff (with the exception of a couple guys) but the XFL is doing something very cool. Other leagues have failed because they try and emulate or compete with the NFL. The XFL had basically filled a need (spring football) and provided enough wild concepts to keep your average fan somewhat interested. Honestly thats all football loving degenerates like myself need. The NFL would be wise to check their immense egos and improve their game through a key rule change.  The adoption of the XFL's revolutionary kickoff structure is a must for the league.
