Smith out

Daryl Smith of the Ravens was cut today after acumulating 122 tackles last year. Despite his age (33), Smith can still play at a high level. The reason for his release has more to do with the Ravens cap situation then anything. Also the rise of future star CJ Mosely, made him somewhat expendable. However, this is a guy who wont be unemployed for long. MLB is always a position of need for many teams. In fact, a certain desert team has the need and history of taking on proven veterans.
