Can we talk about how wierd this story is? So the media seems to love the version where AP swallows his chew but he claims that he is allergic to shellfish but eats shrimp anyways. Hmmm.....either way this is fucking hilarious. I dont chew but isnt not swallowing that shit day one stuff. Furthermore, if he didnt miss the game then who the fuck cares! You've got these PC kninghts coming out of left field (im looking at you mike freeman of bleacherreport) acting like A. this doesnt happen and B. The NFL should ban it because it causes cancer. Look im all for safety and all that bullshit but when you tell grown men what they can and cannot do and the substance in question is legal thats where you lost me. Dude is 30 if he wants to get cancer let him. The other side of this story is just as funny. Bud your allergic to shrimp maybe dont eat it. I dont know about you guys but shrimp to me is good but masively overatted. Sure as hell isnt good enough to risk blowing up like a ballon and being itchy and shit. I dont know which side of this story to believe but either way I commend you AP, its never a dull moment with this guy

The XFL rule that the NFL must adopt

The XFL has burst onto the scene. By burst I mean the league has yet to fold. In all seriousness, as a football fan I am just happy there is semi-coherent football being played. Sure quarterback play isn't up to snuff (with the exception of a couple guys) but the XFL is doing something very cool. Other leagues have failed because they try and emulate or compete with the NFL. The XFL had basically filled a need (spring football) and provided enough wild concepts to keep your average fan somewhat interested. Honestly thats all football loving degenerates like myself need. The NFL would be wise to check their immense egos and improve their game through a key rule change.  The adoption of the XFL's revolutionary kickoff structure is a must for the league.
