Dysfunction in Brownsvill

vs.

Surprising stuff right here. It appears the Cleveland Browns have some issues, who would've thunk? As you know the Brownies hold the 1st and 12th overall picks in the draft. For most of us possessing functional brains, the number one player in this class is Myles Garrett. This freaky defensive end who routinely beats double teams, looks like goddamn Hercules and runs faster then a tight end. It seems that Cleveland might screw up this slam dunk of a pick. Coach Hue Jackson (who I actually think is a good coach) wants yet another quarterback with the number one overall pick. Reports claim it is none other then Mitch Trubisky, who prefers to be called Mitchell but he doesnt get to have everything in life. The big problem here is: A. Garrett is an immediate impact player and B. Trubisky is a talented, inexperienced qb with some question marks. A team devoid of talent should be in "best player available" mode but this is no ordinary franchise. The thing is, Trubisky may still be there at 12 and Garrett will absolutely not be. Also, the Browns have eleven picks in the draft so if they wanted to move up from 12 they have the fire power to do so. People love to wonder how the Browns constantly screw up, look no further then going against the grain on the consensus number one overall pick. Might I remind you this is a team that hired a former baseball front office man to run their football operations (you definitely read that right). Jackson needs to stick to coaching and let the baseball guy pick Hercules. If a baseball GM can see how sick Garrett is then you know he truly is a can't miss prospect. Expect to see Cleveland do the wrong thing come draft day.
