Ok, lets get something straight here. I see a lot of you fucking commenter/ key board activists thinking you guys know whats best for wes welker. Get the fuck out of here, hes a grown man who is 100% capable of making his own decisions. If he wants and is able to play football, all the power to him. This game passes you by quickly and his window was closing. The fact that he got a contract and still has a passion for the game is awesome. Are we getting to the point where we are in the business of telling a multimillionaire professional athlete whats safe and whats not? I sure as hell dont think so. And dont pretend like you wouldnt switch places with him in a second. You play a game and make more money then god....if you are willing and able go out there and kill it. Its worth not living as long. We cant get rid of the risk involved in employment, whats next are we going to tell miners we dont think they should make money because it hurts our feelings? Suck it up and let the man play the game, he is a fucking adult after all.

Tom Brady seemed destine to ride off into the sunset on a half functional body and a relatively intact brain, donning a Patriots jersey. It seems that the ancient quarterback and his morally inept team had something else in mind. Brady met with Belicheck and thats that, no progress, no give and take. It seemed like a rather Belicheckian end to a 20 year long domination tour. The coach, of course, is known as an analytical decision maker who rather cut a player too early than too late. The XFL rule that the NFL must adopt

The XFL has burst onto the scene. By burst I mean the league has yet to fold. In all seriousness, as a football fan I am just happy there is semi-coherent football being played. Sure quarterback play isn't up to snuff (with the exception of a couple guys) but the XFL is doing something very cool. Other leagues have failed because they try and emulate or compete with the NFL. The XFL had basically filled a need (spring football) and provided enough wild concepts to keep your average fan somewhat interested. Honestly thats all football loving degenerates like myself need. The NFL would be wise to check their immense egos and improve their game through a key rule change.  The adoption of the XFL's revolutionary kickoff structure is a must for the league.
