Talib deal

The Rams are going for it all. They could not have picked a better time to do so. The Shehawks are dismantling their once dominate defence and the niners are still a year or two away. Combine this with the uncertainty that the Cardinals face with no current qb and the time is now. Their latest addition is the enigmatic, yet talented corner Aqib Talib. Talib became expendable in Denver. This was not due to his play (he is still dominate) but a combination of a few things. He is set to make 11 million this year as a 31 year old cornerback. The Broncos are already spending a nice chunk of change of their other star corner, Chris Harris. They also have former first rounder Bradley Robey waiting in the wings. A jettisoning of Talib made sense for them. The Rams are in win now mode and they were set to lose Trumaine Johnson. Pairing Talib with Peters potentially gives them the best cornerback duo in the league. However, two personalities this large will take some finessing from Sean Mcvaay. If he can keep both of these talented studs in line the rams defence will be dominate. Look for them to compete for the best record in the NFC this year.
