Steelers-Titans preview

The dreaded "skycam" will be an interesting look at your favorite game of real life madden. If its anything like last weeks preview, Im so out on this. Im a big fan of actually seeing the receivers but hey i guess thats just me. The game itself is going to be a good one. Both teams are at the top of the AFC and still actually have their starting qbs healthy. For the Titans this is a great matchup on offence. The steelers excel defending the pass but struggle a bit against the run. The exotic smashmouth approach should flourish assuming Demarco Murray is healthy. Thats not to say Derrick Henry cant carry the load, just that two sick runners is better then one. Mariota just needs to do what he does best, protect the ball and pick up some yards on the ground. The steelers offence seems to always be in a good position. The emergence of Smith-Schuster adds another dimension to this already potent offence. Despite the Titans decent defence, I have no doubt the Steelers will put up some points. X-Factors are Corey Davis and Juju. Davis was targeted a whopping ten times last week and made some excellent catches. We will see if the top pick can keep the defence honest. For the steelers, having a target opposite antonio brown opens things up for the offence. He should face single coverage all night.

Prediction: I like the Steelers here, 27-23.

Free agency roundup part 2

Teddy Bridgewater: The Panthers decided to turn the page on Cam Newton after another injury- plagued season. The bizarrely haired, hieroglyphic writing QB was due for a change of scenery. Bridgewater, on the other hand, flashed serious skill while Drew Brees was on the shelf. He is still only 27 and could be a very good quarterback for Matt Rhule and co. He is a young qb on a reasonable deal, should be a win-win for both sides. Ryan Tannehill: I know I said I would focus on guys who changed teams, however I would be remiss if I did not address Tanny. The talented quarterback peeked at the right time down the stretch. He tore up the league in the second half of the season throwing 22 tds and 6 picks. In fact he and Derrick Henry almost got the Titans to a superbowl. Tannehill is good but hes not 4 years and 118 million dollars good. I think the Titans will live to regret this decision. Its like Chirstmas

In these times of uncertainty it is rare that we receive any good news. Things appear to be getting more and more grim by the day. The coronavirius is like a freight train forcing quarantines and cancelling sports left and right. No one knows what tomorrow holds and it is a little unsettling. Deandre Hopkins is a Cardinal, I repeat, possibly the best receiver in the the league is a Cardinal! I know what you are thinking, we probably gave up too much.
