Von Millers contract

Von Miller man, what can you say. He played his negotiation perfectly and milked denver for everything he could get. The guy is totally worth the money (6 years 114 million and 70 million guarenteed) in the sense that if Denver didnt do it then someone else would have. The money in the NFL is exploding right now but 70 million guarenteed is fuckin insanity. Good for Denver though, they needed a win after a tough offseason that saw them lose key pieces from thier superbowl team. Now lets see if Von will play motivated after signing a life altering deal.

Teddy Bridgewater: The Panthers decided to turn the page on Cam Newton after another injury- plagued season. The bizarrely haired, hieroglyphic writing QB was due for a change of scenery. The man, the myth, the legend. A fixture of professional sports for the last 20 years. Tom Brady seemed destine to ride off into the sunset on a half functional body and a relatively intact brain, donning a Patriots jersey. It seems that the ancient quarterback and his morally inept team had something else in mind. Brady met with Belicheck and thats that, no progress, no give and take. It seemed like a rather Belicheckian end to a 20 year long domination tour. The coach, of course, is known as an analytical decision maker who rather cut a player too early than too late. The XFL rule that the NFL must adopt

The XFL has burst onto the scene. By burst I mean the league has yet to fold. In all seriousness, as a football fan I am just happy there is semi-coherent football being played. Sure quarterback play isn't up to snuff (with the exception of a couple guys) but the XFL is doing something very cool. Other leagues have failed because they try and emulate or compete with the NFL. The XFL had basically filled a need (spring football) and provided enough wild concepts to keep your average fan somewhat interested. Honestly thats all football loving degenerates like myself need. The NFL would be wise to check their immense egos and improve their game through a key rule change.  The adoption of the XFL's revolutionary kickoff structure is a must for the league.
