Winners and Losers of Free agency thus far
Winners
Arizona Cardinals: Steve Kiem and Bruce Arians have this great system where they draft well and add proven veterans on short contracts so they are always playing like it is a contract year. Not to mention they made a splash getting Iupati from San Fran, also they just signed Corey Redding to go along with Sean Weatherspoon and Lamar Woodely
St. Louis: Getting Nick Foles and major cap flexibility was a great move for this team. Even if Bradford can stay healthy, a change of scenery was needed for both sides. I love this pickup, the rams have enough talent that if Foles can play even as well as he did last year you are looking at a competitive team, also the draft picks help
Seattle: Getting Jimmy Graham is huge for that passing game, sure the price tag was big but they filled an immediate need while giving up a great player (Unger) who was injured for most of their superbowl run. Essentially it is just a low first rounder for the second best tight end in the league. They scare me
Losers
San Fransisco: This organization is slowly going down the tubes. Losing two pro-bowlers to retirement, the terrible management of the Hardbaugh situation and the lose of Frank Gore cripple a team that has been competitive for the last little while. Not to metion Trey Baalke and Jed York are the most petty owner/gm duo in the league. Keep your mouth shut about organization business and relationships when talking to the media, how hard is that?
Philly: Either Chip Kelly knows something the rest of us dont or he is legitimately delusional. I tend to side with the latter, I mean come on Chip! I know your ego is telling you that getting rid of all your best players doesnt matter because of your system. But come one dude at least keep one good player for the offence: Mccoy, maclin and desean jackson? Your telling me you cant keep one of those difference makers!!! This seems like a classic case of a college coach trying to coach grown men like, well college kids. We all know how this story ends (Saban, Schiano etc.)
Miami: If the league didn't hate Miami they would be a winner right now. They made deals ahead of the deadline like everyone else but because they got Suh, they are the main team the league is looking into. By the way are we just going to pretend that the league didnt entrap most teams with this whole "negotiation week" rule. Anyways business as usual: GO FUCK YOURSELF GODDELL
