Good on the Steelers for doing the right thing and bringing arguably their best player back. Brown really paid the price for his facebook live debacle. This was followed by rumours essentially saying he was a self important asshole. But honestly what star receiver isn't (save my boy Larry). Give me a self important, stat obsessed receiver who constantly set records and shows up in the playoffs every goddamn time. Love how Steelers management didnt get cute with it and made the guy the highest paid receiver in the game. Other then Julio there is no one better.

Dodged a bullet on that one. The steelers tagged Bell the other day and he will make 12 million this coming year. This is a very smart move by the steelers as Bell, despite his incredible ability has struggled with injuries and being a dumbass for some time now. Don't get me wrong, best running back in the league but his reliability is definitely a question mark. Missed drug tests and a timely injury around playoff time have become synonymous with the seemingly mental midget that is the Pittsburgh running back. Love the move of giving him a year to really prove he can play a full season. Knowing Bell the chip on his shoulder will be enormous.

Sure it wasnt that long term deal that both sides wanted but itll work. He was an excellent pickup for the Cards throughout the year. The combination of him and Markus Golden is arguably the best pass rush duo in the NFL. This is also wise in that this team could be in a full on rebuild next year when Palmer and Fitz inevitably leave. Hopefully this frees up the Cards to give Calais Campbell a big contract in the 3 year 30 million dollar range. I would love to see them pay Campbell and let someone else pay jefferson and Minter. The draft will be perfect for Minters replacement and the safety position has a way of sorting itself out. Just glad one of my favorite cardinals is back another year. Hopefully its one of many despite the rebuild on the horizon

Anyone else smell bullshit with this revis thing? The story goes Revis left the club, a guy found out who he was and then followed him with his buddy while filming. Revis then said stop, the guy didnt and the Jets corner snatched his phone to delete the video. At this point things got physical and the guy and his buddy got knocked the fuck out. Look if your gonna harrass someone, anybody at 3 in the morning after a night at the club with the purpose of getting likes on social media then you deserve to get knocked out. SO usually my predictions stink but I'm fairly confident that this wont be a total fallacy. What we have here is the stuff superbowl wet-dreams are made of. Two offences capable of putting up 50 burgers. Two underatted, opportunistic defences that should make for big plays. The freakiest freak to ever freak (Julio Jones), a couple stud backfields featuring speed and power and a couple little whities who can catch the ball. You got a team who was never supposed to be here and one thats here a little too often. A revenge tour of epic proportions, a ginger who doesn't want the Pats to win and a team that wants to remind people that they can in fact play with the Pats. I feel like people are downplaying the shit out of this superbowl. Its gonna be awesome folks, grab some buffalo wings and get drunk off your ass. Oh fuck yeah. The man, the myth, the legend will grace us with his presence for another season. I dont want to say I called but I called it muthafuckas. This is big for a team that really needed a win right now. Fitz is still a top ten receiver in this league and he instantly makes this offence twice as good just by being on the field. He is capable of going for 100 catches again and Im convinced he can do it until hes 50. You know what else this means? Mr. Palmer is coming back as well. There is zero and I mean zero chance that Fitz comes back and palmer doesnt. The man has lived through some of the worst qbs in his career and never made a peep. Now that hes old and has a qb who can get him the ball hes not settling for an unknown. Once Palmer gets back from his much publicized vacation the gang will be back together again.
